Pianist Jung Lin has been acclaimed for her poetic and virtuosic pianism. A native of Taiwan, she has won numerous competitions in her native country. At sixteen her symphonic poem, “The Black Wedding”, was given its premiere by the Juilliard Symphony under Miguel Harth-Bedoya. While at Juilliard, Ms. Lin studied composition with the renowned American composer David Diamond, and, for six years, piano with the eminent pianist Martin Canin.

Ms. Lin has given numerous all-Chopin recitals, including during the 150th anniversary of Chopin’s death, when she was heard at such prestigious venues as the International Keyboard Institute and Festival at the Mannes College of Music, the Summit Festival, in China, and the Kosciuszko Polish Foundation. In 1999, she was featured at New York’s Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center in the Gala Chopin recital which included 25 world renowned pianists. In addition to Chopin, Jung Lin is an avid champion of Nicolai Medtner and her repertoire of the Russian composer is extensive.
