Honoured Artist of Ukraine Hennadiy Demianchuk is the head of the piano department of the Music Professional College named after Levko Revutskyi and associate professor of the piano department of the National Academy of Ukraine.
He received his musical education at the Central Special Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (class of T.A. Bobovych), and studied at the Moscow State Conservatory (class of Professor E. Malinin), continued his studies as an assistant – trainee of Professor M. Voskresensky).
In 1989, he won the first prize at the International Competition “Jeunesses musicales” in Belgrade, (former Yugoslavia) and in 2001 won the Grand Prix at the international competition “Music World” in Fivizano (Italy).
Since then, he has been active in concerts. He performed in Austria, Serbia, Poland, Japan, South Korea, Italy, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Singapore, and Bulgaria.
Participated in many festivals: “Kyiv Music Fest”, “Tchaikovsky Festival” (Ukraine), festivals named after Svyatoslav Richter (Ukraine), Festival Klavier Linz (Austria), International Arts Festival (Belarus), Festival “Probaltika” (Poland), Festival “French Spring” (Ukraine), “Stainway & Co” (Ukraine).
Co-author of the project “Musical Meetings in the Museum”.
Among his concert programs are monographic evenings dedicated to the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert, Frédéric Chopin, Franz Liszt and others.
Ukrainian music is represented by the works of Zhanna Kolodub, Levko Revutskyi, Kira Maidenberg, and Myroslav Skoryk.
He cooperates with the orchestras of Ukraine: the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Honored Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Ukrainian Radio, the State Pop Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the chamber orchestra “Kyiv Soloists”, the orchestras of the Donetsk, Dnipro, Uzhgorod, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv regional philharmonics, with the symphony by the orchestra of the military music center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
For the first time in Ukraine, he performed piano concerts of Bruckman, Bartok Concerto No. 1, and Stoiovskyi Concerto No. 1.
Participates in the jury of piano competitions (Odesa, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Baturyn), and conducts numerous master classes.
In 2020, he was a member of the jury of the “Singapore International Piano Competition”, during which he had the opportunity to demonstrate his teaching experience at master classes and performing skills at the Gala Concert. In February, he was a participant in the UKR Artists Agency project for the 210th anniversary of the birth of F. Chopin, BASN & BASN (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnipro).
In 2021, he took part in the “Martensky Musical Days” festival (Bulgaria).
Made recordings on CD (with music by Scarlatti, Mozart, Schumann, Schubert and Brahms), and for the Ukrainian Radio Fund.
Students of Hennadiy Demyanchuk work in various educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad. Among them are laureates of All-Ukrainian and International competitions.
