Maryana Holovko is a Ukrainian singer working at the intersection of opera, contemporary classical music, jazz, and experimental performance.
Since 2013, she has been a soloist with the Nova Opera project, performing leading roles in contemporary operas by Ukrainian composers, with appearances in Vienna, New York, and across Europe. She has taken part in landmark productions such as IYOV, GAZ, and CHORNOBYLDORF (Shevchenko National Prize; Theatre Now NY Top Award).
She collaborates with leading Ukrainian orchestras and ensembles, performing works by Ivan Karabyts, Viktoria Poleva, Yuriy Laniuk, Valentyn Sylvestrov, among others. She has presented solo programs in London, Prague, and Frankfurt.
She is the author of musical and interdisciplinary projects, including Das Wotspiel and Holosinnia. In 2022–2023, she participated in international artistic initiatives across Europe and was actively engaged in volunteer work.
In 2024–2026, she is a performer in the opera Amandante by Maksym Shalygin, the founder of the platform The Great Ukrainian Songbook, and the author of an album release featuring music by Ivan Karabyts.
