General information

In 2021 Illia finished Kherson Music School No. 4 in the class of Kateryna Ivankova with distinction. While studying there, he tried to actively perform at various concerts so as he was a laureate of many international and all-Ukrainian competitions. Also, he had that time great opportunity to play every year with the regional chamber orchestra “Gileya”.

After music school, he studied at the Kherson Professional College of Musical Art, and after completing the second year in the class of Valentina Sozanskaya, he entered Kyiv in the class of Oleksandra Zaitseva, having previously attended the master class “Gifted in music” with scholarship support, which was held in the summer in Austria, in Kapfenberg, and where his teacher was Anna Ulayeva.

Achievements during his college studies:
1. Laureate of the II degree of the All-Ukrainian piano competition “FortePiano”, 2022.
2. Laureate of the 2nd degree of the open regional competition for young pianists named after Sviatoslav Richter in the homeland of the outstanding musician, Zhytomyr, 2023.
3. Laureate of the 2nd degree of the 21st All-Ukrainian Competition for Young Pianists as part of the festival “Neuhaus Musical Meetings”, Kropyvnytskyi, 2023.
4. Laureate of the 2nd degree of the Maria Krushelnytska Open Piano Competition, Lviv, 2023.
5. Laureate of the 1st prize of the International Piano Music Competition “UKE-PIANO” as part of the Dynasty Festival, Kyiv, 2023.
6. Laureate of the 1st prize of the 3rd Jan Paderewski International Ukrainian-Polish Instrumental Competition, Vinnytsia, 2023.

During his first year at the academy, he actively participated in various solo and chamber festivals. in particular, he participated in the master class of Daniel Lebhardt. Also during this year he was a member of the Modern Music Ensemble of the academy under the supervision of Volodymyr Runchak. Finally, in February, he had the opportunity to perform with the Honored Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukrainian Radio conducted by Volodymyr Sheiko as part of the project “I am a virtuoso”.
