Among the ideas that are embodied in the works of the program of the famous ensemble is the view of a modern person on historical and religious holidays (Karmella Tsepkolenko), the eccentric constructive musical declaration “Reduction” (Andrii Merkhel) and the abstractness of music as an art that does not need fancy titles (Bohdan Sehin, Anastasiya Lozova). A word to composers and performers:
The project’s name came from the long-term cooperation of two international festivals that arose in the same year in young independent Ukraine – 1995: “Two Days and Two Nights of New Music” and “Contrasts”. The goal is to present the works of composers of different generations and peoples in a universe aimed at unifying art.
