Masterclass with James VanDemark, double bass (USA)

The Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra invites young musicians to apply for the first in a series of the orchestra’s educational events — a double bass masterclass led by the world-renowned double bassist James VanDemark (USA).

Participation in the masterclass is free of charge for active participants.

Apply as either an active or passive participant by 2:00 PM on May 13 via the registration form.

Program for active participants:

• A solo piece with piano accompaniment — a concert piece or a movement from a double bass concerto (duration up to 5 minutes) (3 participants)

• Orchestral excerpts (2 participants)

Selected active participants will be notified individually.

Travel and accommodation expenses are to be covered by participants. Participation is only possible with your own accompanist.
