The 31st edition of the festival does not put a full stop, does not seek a common denominator, and does not demand conclusions. The closing event of the festival is, in fact, a new beginning glimpsed just beyond the finish line: a concert featuring the young generation of Ukrainian composers — students of the Lviv National Music Academy. New doors will also be opened by the festival’s partner location joining this year for the first time — the stage of the contemporary art space JamFactory Art Center. The spirit of creative experimentation, the thrill of debuts, friendly support, and vibrant curiosity — this is what annually draws audiences to the concerts of the Academy’s students at “Contrasts.”
