Alina Shevchenko – piano

Talented young Lviv pianist, laureate and diplomat of all Ukrainian and international competitions, average international festival-competition  “Consonance” (Grand Prix, 2010), international competition “Chords of Khortytsia” (title of winner in 2011, 2012, 2013), international competition V. Viardo (1st Prize, 2013), A. Karamanov International Competition (Graduate, 2013), All-Ukrainian Competition. G. Neuhaus (1st Prize, 2015), All-Ukrainian Competition. V. Povzun (3rd prize, chamber music), international competition. E. Stankovych (Grand Prize of the Contest, 2016), International Competition “Kharkiv Assemblies” (2nd Prize, 2017), participant of the international pianist competition. V. Horowitz and the E. Gillels International Piano Competition.

She has participated in international festivals “Golf Stream”, “Music in Old Krakow”, “Music in Old Lviv”, “Contrasts”. She has acted as soloist and cameraman in many cities in Ukraine, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, South Korea and Austria. Collaboration with conductors includes work with Mykola Lysenko, Alexander Dolinsky, Vyacheslav Red (Ukraine), Michał Klauza (Poland), Youn Keun Kim (South Korea).

Participated in master classes of renowned professors Eugene Mikhailov, Jacob Kasman, Daniele Petralia International Piano Masterclass (Rome, Italy), International Summer Academy of Music (Ochsenhausen, Germany), at the Dora Schwartzberg International Summer Music Academy (Ukraine / Switzerland, as part of Piano Trio), collaborated with world-renowned opera singer Vladimir Chernov at the International Vocal Artists Academy of Pauerbach (Austria) as a concertmaster. She also participated in the recording of S. Prokofiev’s Chamber Works CD, the recording of Paul Herman’s works for the English label Toccata Classics, and the recording of a series of three CDs “CELLO & PIANO” in collaboration with the cellist M. Mentsynsky of Lviv.
