Dmytro Voronov – baritone (Ukraine)

General information

Dmytro comes from Vyshgorod city in Kyiv region. He was born in 1994.

His education includes a master’s degree in Music Art and English language (National Pedagogic University named by Dragomanov, 2015), a specialist degree in Academic Solo Singing (National Music Academy named by Tchaikovsky, 2016) and an assistant-trainee course graduate certificate at the same Academy (the class of the People’s Artist of Ukraine, V.G.Bujmister, 2019).

Dmytro has a vast stage experience both in singing opera parts and working with professional choirs. To be more specific, he has worked with two famous Kyiv choirs in 2015-2018: the “Khreshchatyk” Academic Chamber Choir and Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and Choir (directed by Roger Macmerrin and Ves Yanson).

The vocal skill acknowledgement is signified by the laureate nominations in various international contests including the Michael Stricharz Fund Contest (Lviv, 2019), the Vocal Contest named by Oleksandr Gurets’ (Kyiv, 2019), the Contest in Memory of Muslim Magomayev (Truskavets, 2019).

Since 2017 Dmytro has been working as the soloist at the National Academic Operetta Theater in Kyiv and as the soloist of the male quartet of the Male Choir Capella named by L.Revutsky since 2018.
