Nataliya Stepanyak – Soprano

General information

Ms. Nataliya Stepanyak is the finalist of the «Competizione dell’Opera» vocal competition (2017) in Linz, Austria. Also she is the winner of the competition «Young Talent» by Spivakov Fund.
July of 2018 has become very special for Nataliya. She have debuted as singer in style of Italian belcanto in role of Adina in Donizetti’s «L’elisir d’amore» at the Summer Festival «Lirica in Circolo» in Crema, Italy. 12th of June, in 2012, she presented Ukrainian culture in United Nations Headquarters in Vienna. 5th of June, in 2018 she sang Ukrainian National Hymn at the opening of Ukrainian Consulate in Graz, Austria. In December 2017 Nataliya sang the role of Morgana in the premiere of Handel’s «Alcina» in the State Opera Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, conducted by Niels Muus. In the summer 2017 she sang Minevra in «Orpheus in der Unterwelt» at Badhall Opera House, conducted by Ernst Theis (Director of «Badhall Summerfestival»). In the summer of 2016 Nataliya was a Soloist at the «Wiener Philharmoniker Sommerakademie» as Despina in Mozart’s «Cosi fan tutte» and made her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Musikverein Graz, Brucknerhaus Linz and in Odeion Theater in Salzburg.
In the 2015-2016 concert season Nataliya Stepanyak sang leading role of Violetta in Verdi’s «La Traviata» (children’s version) at the Vienna Dschungel Theater and the role of Papagena in Mozart’s
«Die Zauberflöte» (children’s version) at the Mozarthaus in Vienna.
As a student of the Opera’s Master Program at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien she sang the role of Servilia in Mozart’s «La clemenza di Tito» in Theater Akzent, Vienna, and the role of Morgana in Händel’s «Alcina» in Muth Theater, also in Vienna, both conducted by Niels Muus.
Besides the opera stage Nataliya Stepanyak has many concerts with orchestra at different concert halls in Europe. The largest of which is «Reincarnation» – her own debut at Lviv Philharmonic Concert Hall with a solo program where she also was a director, initiator and manager of the project. She also sang at an Evening of Operetta at Muth Theater with the orchestra «Con Fuoco» and a Matinee with the orchestra of the Wiener Philharmoniker Summer Academy, conducted by Michel Werba at Schloss Hunyadi, Austria. Also, she had Concert with Solo program at Potoczki Castle in Warsaw, Poland.
Ms. Nataliya Stepanyak holds both Bachelor of Music and Master of Music (Bandura) degrees from the Lviv Mykola Lysenko National Music Academy. In Summer 2018 she will complete her Master of Art degree at the Opera department of Musik und Kunst, Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien.
