Roman Marchenko – piano

General information

Roman was born in 1995 in Lviv. He graduated from Lviv Secondary Specialized Boarding School named after Solomiya Krushelnytska in the class of Marta Gavrushko.

 In 2019 he graduated with a master’s degree in piano from LNMA. M. Lysenko in the class of Professor Lydia Krykh.

Active participant of the International Piano Forum “Bieszczady without boundaries” (Sanok, Poland, 2017), winner of a scholarship from the Esperus Art Fund to participate in master classes in Montpansier, France, winner and winner of a special prize from the chairman of the jury (master class and concert in Austria) at the international competition of pianists ProArt (Khmelnytsky, 2019), participated in the recording of works by Paul Herman for the English label Tocatta Classics.

Roman took part in master classes led by such famous pianists as Andrzej Jasinski (Poland), Anthony Baryshevsky (Ukraine), Tamara Atchba (Georgia-Austria), Eugene Indzic (Serbia-USA). He collaborated with the outstanding British bass baritone of Ukrainian origin Pavel Gunka and the Bulgarian tenor Kaludi Kaludov.

He actively performs as a soloist and accompanist in the halls of Ukraine and Poland.
