Tatiana Lysenko-Didula – conductor

General information

Tetiana Lysenko-Didula was born in Lviv (Ukraine), and received elementary music education in S. Krushelnytska Music Boarding School of Lviv in the classes of piano (teacher Vorobkevych T. P.), conducting (teacher Ostafiychuk Z. H.) and contrabass (teacher Semenyuk R. S.).

Graduated from Lviv Conservatoire (Faculty of Opera-Symphony Conducting, class of professor Yuriy Lutsiv) in 1992, and the course of probation assistantship in 1997.

In 1989 – 2017 led the orchestra of the youth symphony orchestra of S. Krushelnytska Music Boarding School of Lviv, with which she regularly performed on the stages of Lviv Philharmonic Society, Lviv Opera and Ballet Theater and abroad (Poznan, Poland, 2014). This youth orchestra successfully played brilliant music compositions of the European classical music and music of the Ukrainian composers. The collective under her leadership won the 1st place in the regional competition-review “Young Talents of Lviv Region” (2007).

In 1997 she began to work on the part-time basis in M. Lysenko Higher Music Institute (now M. Lysenko National Music Academy of Lviv) at the Department of Choir and Opera-Symphony Conducting where she leads the class of conducting.

As a conductor, she performed with the professional orchestras in Lviv and abroad. In 2003 she participated in the concert of the young conductors in Krakow Philharmonic Society, the TV program “Druga twarz” (“Second Face”) based on it was recorded and aired on the TV channel TVN a number of times.

Since 2017 Tetiana Lysenko-Didula works full time in the Academy and leads the class of opera-symphony conducting and heads the student symphony orchestra with which she successfully performs concerts getting very warm reception by the public and great appraisal of music critics.
