General information

Los Angeles born musician, Thomas Militello, enjoys a varied career as a musician. He studied music since he was thirteen years old. He received his B.M. from the University of Southern California and is pursuing a M.M. in Horn Performance from the University of Michigan. Thomas began conducting at the age of 16 when he became the drum major of his high school marching band. In 2013, the United States Army appointed him to be the conductor of the United States Army All-American Marching Band. He studied conducing with Larry Livingston at the University of Southern California. Thomas was the music director of the USC horn choir, where he conducted and arranged for the ensemble for two years. In Fall 2016, Thomas founded the University Brass Ensemble where he co-directed the ensemble. His other musical interests include freelancing, arranging, and collaborating in non-traditional music projects.
