Lyatoshynsky Trio

Lyatoshynsky Trio was founded in 2019 by the famous musicians with Ukrainian roots: Mykhaylo Zakharov, violin (Ukraine / Austria), Oleksiy Shadrin, violoncello (Ukraine / Germany) and Roman Lopatynsky, piano. In the first year of joint artistic activity, the trio made its triumphant debut at the music festival UStream in one of the most famous music halls of the world “Mozartsaal” of Vienna Konzerthaus and in the National Philharmonic Hall of Ukraine in the framework of the festival Kyiv Music Fest.

It was followed by the highly successful tour of the trio in the Ukrainian cities (Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, Kyiv) with the program “Secrets of Stradivarius” in the framework of the project of creation of the Fund of rarity musical instruments in Ukraine.

Along with the classical repertoire, the young musicians pay special attention to modern music and the music of Ukrainian composers. Thus, the result of artistic collaboration with the outstanding Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk was the first performance of the cycle of his romances “To the Muse” for piano trio and soprano.

The soprano part was performed by the famous Ukrainian singer Tetyana Melnychenko, soloist of Madrid Opera House.
