Tetiana Homon – piano

Chamber musician, associate professor of the Rheingold Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, musicologist, researcher and keeper of Borys Liatoshynskyi’s musical heritage, a composer who determined the development of Ukrainian music in the 20th century through his creativity and his students. Since 2010, Tetiana has been researching and keeping the composer’s archive, bringing together his students and the best Ukrainian musicians.

She graduated from the National Academy of Music in 2003 (class of Professor Borys Arkhymovych) and assistantship-internship of the chamber ensemble department in 2008 (class of Professor Iia Tsarevych).

In 2015, with a doctor of arts Ihor Savchuk, she worked on the first edition of “Borys Liatoshynskyi. Romances of the 1920s”. Author-compiler of the collection “Borys Liatoshynskyi. Piano works of the 1910s” and the publication “Borys Liatoshynskyi. Romance for cello and piano. 1913” (2020).

In 2017, she defended her thesis on the topic “Early period of creativity of Borys Liatoshynskyi: scientific reconstruction based on the materials of unknown and little-known sources of the 1910s.”

Head of the public organization “Liatoshynsky Foundation”.

In a series of concerts, Tetiana Homon performed all the chamber and instrumental works by Borys Liatoshynskyi.
