“Tristan and Iseult” by Wagner is considered to be a culmination of historical development of Romanticism music language. Here traditional rules of tonalities collapse and fransfrom into plazma of music energy. Wagner was a radical innovator in his epoch. Innovator of opera, proponent of Gesamtkunstwerk idea – work that synthesize, combine different types of art. He was not only creating music for his operas, but also was the author of libretto and even built a theatre for performing only his dramas. Operas of Wagner are especially demanding to singers and need special preparation.
