The Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra continues its concert series abroad. After a successful performance at the International Music Festival in Szczecin, the orchestra will play at the large-scale opening of the European Games. The concert will be held in the Polish city of Kraków and will take place at the Municipal Stadium, which provides seats for over 30 thousand spectators, on 21 June at 20:30.

Musicians of the Lviv Philharmonic will perform the European Games Anthem specially created for the event. Sebastian Perlowski will conduct the performance.

According to the organisers, the event will be exciting: the opening ceremonies of major sporting events like the Olympic Games or the World Cup are the most popular programmes worldwide. It is an artistic spectacle of the highest level, full of music, dancing, and choreography. All participating national teams also present themselves during the official opening ceremony. The most crucial moment at the Games is the lighting of the Olympic flame.
