Opening of the jubilee season of the Academic Chamber Orchestra “Lviv Virtuosos”

Over 30 years of activity, the collective has become one of the leading orchestras of the Lviv National Philharmonic and one of the best chamber orchestras in the country. The first concert of the anniversary season is dedicated to one of the most fateful collaborations in the history of the orchestra – the collaboration with Myroslav Skoryk, because the already famous composer at the time of the creation of the orchestra not only supported the idea of ​​the young team but also wrote for the “Lviv Virtuosos”, was a soloist at some concerts and even recorded a CD together!

Therefore, the opening program will feature selected works of the composer: spiritual and secular, with a recognizable Carpathian flavor and numerous allusions to the musical treasures of the past. All of them are united by the expressive and endless melodiousness of Skoryk as if the long song of human life continues to sound in the walls of the Philharmonic.
