On 17 June, the Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Sacrum Non Profanum International Music Festival. The famous festival has been held in the ancient Polish town of Szczecin since 2005.

The Symphony Orchestra will appear on stage after a successful tour of Carnegie Hall with the popular Polish Choir celebrating its 70th anniversary, Polish singer Katarzyna Dondalska, a colouratura soprano with a four-octave range that world opera star Barbara Bonney has called “the eighth wonder of the world”, and the outstanding Polish baritone Leszek Skrla, who is known for his great musical versatility. Bogdan Bogushewski will conduct the concert. The concert of our guest orchestra will be titled “To the Women and Children of Ukraine” and will include music from the most famous films – “Dracula”, “Star Wars”, “The Law and the Fist”, “Mission”, “By Fire and Sword”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, etc.
The famous Polish composer Zbigniew Kozub from the Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan will create a new version of the European Union Anthem especially for the concert, which will be performed at the end of the concert by all the artists on stage and the audience in the hall.
The concert will be held under the patronage of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland. Festival organiser: Pomeranian Society of Instrumentalists “Academy” in Szczecin.
