Ariane Plantive – violin (FR)

General information

Born in France (26.06.1997), Ariane Plantive graduated from Versailles Conservatoire in 2015, where she studied the violin with Alexandre Brussilovsky. Currently she is studying at the Royal College of Music in London with Doctor Felix Andrievsky. She is a RCM award holder supported by the Henry Wood Accommodation Trust.

As a young musician she performed with musicians including Alexandre Brussilovsky, Vincenzo Balzani, Kei Saotome, Francoise De Maubus, Irina Andrievsky and had the chance to practice with the great Viktor Tretjakov and the young violinist Joo Yeon Sir.

Besides solo, orchestra and chamber music performances are also a very important part of her life. She has performed as a leader with the Musika Academy Orchestra under the baton of the conductor Pierre Bleuse in France. In 2015 she has recorded String Fairy Tale by Efrem Podgaits as a violin solo with the Chamber Orchestra Nouvelle Scene in Versailles.

In 2019, she went on an orchestra tour in Germany to represent the Royal College of Music.

She is a member of the Ensemble Hadeos, an association whose purpose is to promote young performers.

She performs regularly with her family trio Trio Plantive in France.
