Vasyl Yatsynak – choirmaster

General information

Yatsynak Vasyl born on May 30, 1952, in the village of. Knjazholuk, Dolynsky district of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

In 1972 he worked as a teacher in the music school and in that year he also started his education at Lviv State Conservatory named after M. Lysenko.

Since 1978 he has worked as a choirmaster-conductor of the well-known choir “Trembita” chorus.

From 1988 to 1990, he was the chief conductor and artistic director of the Trembita Chapel.

In 1990 he began teaching at the Lviv Music College.

In 2002, he created and became a director and artistic director of the “Halych Chamber Choir”, which was granted the status of a state professional collective.

In Ukraine, Vasyl Yatsyanka is known as a successful conductor, director, and teacher of choirs.
