Dmytro Fonariuk

General information

Dmytro Fonariuk was born on August 27, 1994 in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. He began his musical education in early childhood. From 2001 till 2009 he studied at the Musical School No 3 in the class of Professor V. Koshytskyi (clarinet).

From 2010 till 2014 Dmytro studied at Glier Kyiv Institute of Music in the class of Professor R. Vovk (clarinet). In 2014 he entered Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine where he studied under the guidance of the Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Docent, Professor Roman Vovk, At the moment Dmytro is a first-year Master program student at Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in the class of Professor Roman Vovk.

Dmytro is a winner of all-Ukrainian and international competitions, member of international youth orchestras such as “I Culture” (Poland, 2017), “Music in Alp’s” (Austria, 2018).

Professional portfolio of the young musician features such achievements as: 1 Prize winner at the All-Ukrainian Competition in the honour of Professor K. Mulberg (Odesa, 2014); Grand Prix winner at the 10th All-Ukrainian competition “Classical Meridian” (Kyiv, 2014); 1 Prize winner (senior group) “Surmy Bukovyny” (Chernivtsi, 2015); 1 Prize winner (senior group) at the 7th Bida International Competition (Lviv, 2016). In 2018 he won the Grand Prix at the 1st Antoniv and Zakopets International Woodwinds Competition (Lviv).

Dmytro implements at active artistic activity both in Ukraine and abroad.
