Nazar Tatsyshyn

General information

Nazar Tatsyshyn finished the V.Barvinsky State Musical College in Drohobych and then graduated from the Mykola Lysenko National Music Academy in Lviv, the class of solo singing under Prof. V. Ihnatenko and A. Lypnik,the class of Chamber singing under M. Lohoida. At present, he is a soloist of the Lviv Regional Philharmonic.
Nazar Tatsyshyn has participated in plenty of contests and festivals both in Ukraine and abroad. He is a laureate of the All-Ukrainian competitions such as: “The Dniester Nightingales” (Novodnistrovsk, 2002), “Sunflower” (Liubin Velyky, 2002) and “Golden Trembitas” (Morshyn, 2004), as well as of such international competitions as: “Veszprem Games” (Veszprem, Hungary, 2004), “Smiles of the Sea” (Balchik, Bulgaria, 2004), “Art Premier” (Kyiv, Ukraine, 2010), and “21st-century Art” (Vorzel, Ukraine, 2011). The singer has been on tour to Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Switzerland, Czech, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Israel, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria, the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Caribbean Islands, Panama, Colombia, and Honduras.

In 2016, Nazar Tatsyshyn played the role of the Count of Almaviva in G.Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” in Ruse and the Mozart Festival in Pravets (Bulgaria). In 2017, the singer participated in G.Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” in Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), whereas in 2018 he took part in G.Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” in Veliko Tărnovo, Varna and Sofia (Bolgaria).
Nazar Tatsyshyn is the founder and leader of the “LeonVoci” vocal ensemble of tenors, which is touring in Europe and Ukraine. From 2015, he has been attending the master classes of well-known Bulgarian tenor Kaludi Kaludov.
