Alexander Schulz – tenor (UA)

Alexander Schulz graduated from the Odessa Nezhdanova National Music Academy and is a laureate of the International Shtokolov Singing Competition, St Petersburg 2008. He has taken part in productions of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf/Duisburg, Kammeroper Dresden, Landestheater Neustrelitz, the Prague State and National Opera, the Lviv National Opera, Opera Nova Bydgoszcz, Estonian National Opera, the Mikhailovsky Theatre, St Petersburg, Tatarstan State Opera, Kazan, and the Odessa National Opera House. His repertoire includes the leading tenor parts in Puccini’s “Tosca” and “Turandot”, Verdi’s “Il Trovatore”, “La Traviata”, “Aida”, Leoncavallo’s “I Pagliacci”, Wagner’s “Tannhäuser” and “Der fliegende Holländer”, Tchaikovsky’s “The Queen of Spades”, and many others.
