Olga Pasichnyk – soprano

General information

Born in Ukraine. Studied piano and musical pedagogy at his native Rivne, vocals at the Kyiv Conservatory and at postgraduate studies at the Music Academy of. F. Chopin in Warsaw. In 1992, she became a soloist of the Warsaw Chamber Opera.

She successfully performed leading parties in the operas of Monteverdi, Pergolesi, Gluck, Handel, Mozart, Weber, Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Debussy, Tchaikovsky and contemporary composers in most European countries, Australia, Canada, Japan and the United States. Olga Pasichnyk performed at numerous concerts and international music festivals in prestigious concert halls and theaters, including the National Opera in Paris, Palais Garnier, the Theater on the Champs Elysees, Hall of Playailles (Paris), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Berlin Concert Hall, Teatro Real, Auditorio Nazional de Muzika (Madrid), Bavarian Staatsoper, Palais de Bo-Art, Royal De la Monnet Theater (Brussels), Vienna Theater, Bregenzher Festspiel (Austria), Geneva Bolshoi Theater, Finnish National Opera, Flemish Opera, Polish National Opera Ru; collaborates with the Belgian and Polish National Philharmonic Orchestras, the National Radio Orchestra of the Polish Radio, RTVE, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Sinfonia Varsovia (Poland), the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the French Radio, the National Orchestra of France, the Orchestra Colon (Paris), New Orchestra (Cologne), English Concert, Baroque Orchestra of the European Union, Academy of Ancient Music, Berlin Academy of Old Music, Freiburg Baroque rkestrom “Concerto Vocal” Ghent “Kollehium vocals” Zurich “Kollehium Novum” Orchestra of the eighteenth century. with conductors such as I. Olga Pasichnyk is the winner of the International Competition for singers c’Herthogenbosch (Netherlands, 1994 – II Prize), the International Vocal Competition Miriam Helin in Helsinki (Finland, 1999 – II Prize), Queen Elizabeth International Music Competition (Belgium, 2000 – III Prize, Special prize for the performance of the oratorio and the Prize of the public). Twice she received “Friederick” (the highest Polish phonographic prize) for the best solo records in 1997 and 2004 (Shimanovsky and Lutoslavsky), Orpheus (Prize of the Festival “Warsaw Autumn”) in 1999, the Golden Cross for Merits (Poland , 2001), A. Khialsky Award for Best Female Opera Party in 2004 (Melizandia’s Party at Pelloise and Melissand, K. Debusy, Polish National Opera). In 2005, she was nominated as the best opera singer for the 2004-2005 season for the Almyrene party (Handel, Rinaldo) and 2009-2010 for the Roxana party (Shimanovsky, King Roger) by the Opera International Opera magazine (” World of opera “). In 2006, she received the Munich Opera Festival Award. In 2011 – the annual award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, and in 2012 – Officer Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.

She recorded more than 50 CDs and DVDs at various companies, including Dabringhaus und Grimm, Harmonia Mundi, Naxos, Opus 111.
