Toronto Ukrainian Male Chamber Choir

The group was formed to create opportunities for Vesnivka to explore a wider range of choral music. Since then, TUMCC has played an important role in partnering with Vesnivka in presenting the annual concert series, special concerts, and community events.

Over the past 15 years, TUMCC, along with Vesnivka, participated in:

M. Lysenko Concert with international opera singer Pavlo Hunka (April 2004)
Memorial concert commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Chornobyl nuclear disaster (April 2006)
Memorial concerts for the 70th and 75th anniversary of “Holodomor” in Eastern Ukraine (2003 and 2008)
Live broadcast on CBC Radio’s Choral Concert of “Pascha – Easter Sunrise Concert” (2007)
Concert commemorating 120 Years of Ukrainians in Canada (2011)
Gala Concert commemorating 200 years of the birth of Taras Shevchenko, Ukraine’s beloved national bard and artist (March 2014)
Concert Tour “Paris to Amsterdam” to celebrate Vesnivka’s 50th Anniversary, with performances in Paris and Senlis France, and Berkhout and Schalkwijk in the Netherlands (May 2014)
