Ami Kitajima – piano (Japan)

Ami Kitajima was born in Osaka, Japan in 2002.
Ami showed her musical talent at a very young age. She began piano lessons at the age of seven.
She has won several awards at piano competitions in Japan.
She moved to Dallas Texas, USA in 2015.
She was awarded honorable mentions at the Baylor/Waco Piano Competition in 2016 and 2018, third place at Collin County Young Artist Competition and second place at the Lewisville Lake Symphony Young Artist Competition in 2017.
This coming June, she will be attending the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp in Michigan, USA. She is fifteen years old and currently in the 9th grade at Jasper High School.
Performing piano concerto with a orchestra was her dream since she was child. She is overjoyed that she has this experience and opportunities.
