Margaryta Golovko – piano

Margaryta Golovko was born in Kamenez-Podolsky (Ukraine). She started her piano studies at the age of five.In 1997 she entered to the Kiev Special Music School named after M.V. Lysenko (piano- Prof. Boris Fedorov). With Prof. Fedorov she continued her studies from 2004 – 2009 at the National Music Academy of Ukraine P. I. Tchaikovsky (NMAU) completing with a Master diploma. From 2009 until 2012 she was an assistant trainee at the NMAU of Prof. Boris Fedorov.

From 2011 to 2015she studied at the International Piano Academy ‘Incontri col Maestri’ in Imola (Italy) with Prof. Piero Rattalino. In 2006 Margaryta participated in the International Piano Commpetiiton ‘Citta di Marsala’ in Marsala (Italy) winning 3rd Prize. At the 30th International Smetana Piano Competition in Pilsen (Czech Republic) in 2012 she was awarded 1st Prize and the EMCY Prize. Also in 2012 Margaryta received the 3rd prize and the Bacau Orchestra prize at the 1st International Piano Competition ‘Cittad’AcquavivadelleFonti’ (Italy).
In June 2014 MargarytaGolovko won the 1 st prize at Midwest International Piano Competition (Cedar Falls, Iowa- USA).

She has performed in concert halls in Ukraine and abroad in France (Paris), Germany (Berlin), Italy (Bologna, Milan, Turin, Mesina, Imola, Pordenone, Monte San Savino) Russia (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg), United States of America (Cedar-Falls(IA),Plymouth, Saint Cloud (MN)), Romania (Bacau), Czeck Republic (Pilsen). Margaryta has performed concerts with the Kyiv State Symphony Orchestra, Pilsen Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Youth Symphony Orchestra ‘Helycon Symphony Orchestra’, Васаu Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and Waterloo Symphony Orchestra.

In 2013Margaryta took part at the 7th International Music Festival «MITO Settembre Musica» in Italy (Milan, Torin) where she performed Variations on the theme by Chopin op.22 of Rachmainov. In September 2014 she took part at the 8 th International Music Festival «MITO Settembre Musica» in Italy (Milan, Torin) where she performed a recitals with Brahms works. In December 2014 Margaryta performed a recital inMariinsky Theatre-II (the Prokofiev Hall) in Saint Petersburg during the 8thInternational Piano Festival «Contemporary piano faces».
In June 2015 Margaryta was selected to participate in the IV “Top of the World” International Piano Competition in Tromso, Norway.

In July 2015 Margaryta performed a recital on the 22 nd International Music Festival in Monte San Savino in Italy. Margaryta has a radio recordings in Italy, USA, Czech Republic that was made during her concerts. Margaryta recordered a CD with Schumann Humoresque op.20 and Brahms Sonata op.5 with “Blue Griffin Records” Label (USA) in 2015.

In January 2016 in Italy was released the CD “ Mirror of time“ that includes Rachmaninov Variations on the theme of Chopin and Busoni Six Variations on the theme of Sigfried Ochs performed by Margaryta Golovko. In March 2016 Margaryta Golovko had a concert tour to the USA ( Minnesota and Iowa States). In July 2016 she was a guest of 3rd International Opera and Classical Music Festival in Kamenez-Podolsky (Ukraine) where she performed a recital.
