Pablo Rossi – piano

General information

Pablo Rossi, winner of the first Nelson Freire National Competition for New Brazilian Talents in 2003, has been building a brilliant musical and artistic career. He won his first prize when he was seven years old, in the IV Competition Young Interpreters of Lages. Since then, he has won more than ten competitions, such as the Magda Tagliaferro Competition (1998), the Encuentro Internacional de Jóvenes Músicos (Córdoba/Argentina 2001) and the International Competition ‘Ciutat de Carlet’ (Carlet/Spain, 2002).

He has performed as a soloist with the Chamber Orchestra of the Kremlin, the Chamber Orchestra of Moscow, the Symphony Orchestra of Kirov, the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra, the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestras of Paraná, Santa Catarina, Ribeirão Preto, Sergipe and Salvador, among others. In five years, Pablo Rossi has given more than eighty recitals in Europe, the United States, Africa and Latin America, as a member of the English foundation ‘The Keyboard Charitable Trust’.

Pablo Rossi currently lives in Brussels and in 2012 received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, in the class of the renowned professor Eliso Virsaladze.
