Ronen Nissan – conductor

General information

Ronen Nissan was born in Israel. Famous conductor and arranger.

His repertoire includes works from sacred music, symphonic large forms to soundtracks of blockbusters and even tango projects. Musical director of the choir and chamber orchestra of Tulln (Austria), choirmaster of the main synagogue of Vienna, conductor of the New Opera Vienna and Wiener Operntheater.As a guest conductor he performs with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Berliner Symphoniker, German Radio Orchestra, Opole Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra (Poland), Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra (Germany). After concerts with the Bohuslav Symphony Orchestra, Martinu Philharmonic (Czech Republic) was awarded the Bronze Medal of the Bishop of Lower Austria for his contribution to the development of sacred music.

He has staged performances at the Bulgarian opera houses Stara Zagora and Veliko Tarnovo Operas.

His touring routes include the cities of Austria, Israel, Argentina, Turkey, China, Liechtenstein, Sweden, Spain, Poland and Germany.

In his homeland, Mr. Nissan is known as the conductor of a series of concerts for young people with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, the Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra and the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra.

Ronen Nissan is known as an arranger and guitarist. He is the leader of a group of five musicians who have performed successfully in Austria, Sweden, Spain and Turkey during the pre-quarantine period.

Ronen Nissan received his master’s degree from Mannes College Music in New York (USA).
