Vasyl Zatsikha – violin

Born on February 11, 1991. From 1997 to 2008 studied violin at the Lviv Solomiya Krushelnytska Secondary Specialized Music Boarding School under Myroslav Sora. Now is studying at the M. Lysenko Lviv State Academy of Music in the class of Professor, Honored Artist of Ukraine Ihor Pulatiuk.

He is a laureate of the contest of M. Stricharz (2000, 2004, 2005), “New Names of Ukraine” (2001), contest named after Y. Kotsian (2001), “Silver Bell” (2003, 2004), All-Ukrainian contest of performers on string instruments (2003, 2006), All-Ukrainian contest “In the blessing of violinist hands”, recipient of a prize of contest named after Y. Yankelevich (2011), and also a participant of the V. Spivakov International Charity Foundation.
