Bohdan Ivasyk – violin

General information

Bohdan Ivasyk – prize winner of national and international music competitions, representative of Ukraine at the classical music competition “Eurovision Young Musicians 2012” in Vienna, Austria.

In 2017 Bohdan graduated with Bachelor of Music degree from the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (High School of Music and Dance Cologne), where he was studying with Viktor Tretyakov. At the current time he is a member of the chamber orchestra “Lviv Virtuosos” (“Віртуози Львова”).

First violin lessons Bohdan Ivasyk received in his hometown, Kryvyj Rih (Ukraine). Further on Bohdan studied with the leading ukrainian and russian teachers in Kyiv Children Academy of Arts, Central Music School in Moscow and Krushelnytska Specialized Secondary Boarding Music School in Lviv, which he finished summa cum laude in 2012. He is also alumni of the Keshet Eilon 2018 International Violin and String Summer Mastercourse.

As soloist performed on ukrainian and european stages with National chamber orchestra “Kyiv Soloists”, chamber orchestra “Academy”, Academiс chamber orchestra “Lviv Virtuosos”, Lviv, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk Philharmonic, Zielona Góra Philharmonic (Poland). In 2016 Bohdan Ivasyk was the member of the Philharmonie der Nationen orchestra under baton of Justus Frantz during their summer tour.
