Nataliia Kukhar – мezzo-soprano (Ukraine)

General information

From August 2018 is a participant of Young Talents Training Programme “Opera Academy” in The Grand Theatre – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, Poland (mentor – Olga Pasichnyk).

Works with Eytan Pessen, Matthias Rexroth, Izabela Kłosińska, Hedwig Fassbender, René Massis, Tomasz Konieczny, Mariusz Kwiecień, Ewa Zeuner, Thomass Lausmann, Lech Napierała, Florence Daguerre de Hureaux. In November 2019 made her polish debut as Rosina in Krakow Opera. In January 2020 made her Polish National Opera debut as Sister in Prokofiev’s “Fiery Angel”. In March 2020 sings Eduige from Rodelinda by Handel in Polish Royal Opera. In August 2020 will sing Cloridoro from L’empio punito by Melani at The Innsbruck Early Music Festival. Finalist of the 10th International Singing Competition for Baroque Opera “Pietro Antonio Cesti” (Innsbruck, Austria; 2019).

In May 2019 made her debut in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio with Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw under the baton of Michał Klauza. From February to July 2018 was a Fellow of the “Gaude Polonia” Program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. Made her operatic debut on the stage of Lviv National Opera in April 2015 in the opera of W.A.Mozart “Don Giovanni” as Donna Elvira. In the 2016/2017 season was soloist of Kyiv National Academic Theatre of Opereta. Graduated from Lviv National Music Academy named after Mykola Lysenko.
