Tatiana Vakhnovska – mezzo-soprano

General information

Was born in the town of Skalat (Ternopil region).

Finished Solomiya Krushelnytska Music College with a major in academic singing. Instructor – R. Boiko, a holder of the title “Honored Artist of Ukraine” .

2000 – 2005 – studied in Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy at the department of solo singing (Instructor – People’s Artist of Ukraine A. Lypnyk). Continued to study as an intern assistant of Professor I. Kushpler, a holder of the title “People’s Artist of Ukraine”.

2005 – present  – have been working in Solomiya Krushelnytska National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Lviv as an opera soloist.

In 2007 – was the laureate of International Vocalist Contest “Alchevsky debut” (Kharkiv, Ukraine).

  • Fenena (D.Verdi “Nabucco”)
  • Maddalena (Verdi “Rigoletto”)
  • Lola (P. Mascagni “Cavalleria rusticana”)
  • Olga (P. Tchaikovsky “Eugene Onegin”
  • Lyubasha (N. Rimsky-Korsakov ” The Tsar’s Bride”)
  • Suzuki (G. Puccini “Madama Butterfly”)
  • Nastya (Yuliy Meitus “Stolen happiness”)

 

Some of the most considerable achievements include performing of operas and oratorios:

  1. Verdi “Requiem” (mezzo-soprano part)
  2. Mozart “Requiem” (alto part)
  3. Dvorzhak “Stabat Mater” (alto part)
  4. Rossini “Petite Messe Solenelle” (contralto part)
  5. Beethoven “Symphony 9” (alto part)

 

The repertoire of performed concerts includes the works of Ukrainian and world classics:
