General information

Phoenix String Quartet (Marko Komonko, violin I, Mykola Haviuk, violin I, Petro Titiayev, violin II, Ustym Zhuk, viola, Denys Lytvynenko, cello)

Phoenix String Quartet was created in 2008 (Lviv). The band consisted of graduates of Lviv National Musical Academy named after Mykola Lysenko, laureates of Ukrainian and international competitions: Mykola Haviuk, Petro Tityayev, Ustym Zhuk, Denys Lytvynenko.

Musicians took part in festivals and chamber orchestra music competitions a number of times in Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Romania, Greece, Italy and Switzerland.
Phoenix String Quartet not only performs but also does constant charity work, enriching its repertoire with masterpieces of world classic music and music of different alternatives directions.

Phoenix String Quartet consists of talented musicians, who are high-skilled in performing. We may observe the expressive individuality of musicians thanks to their cooperation. Elegant chamber music of the string quartet creates an amazing atmosphere everywhere.
