Dovgan Peter – piano

Petro Dovgan’ – is a pianist, a pedagogue, a docent of special piano department in Lviv National Music Academy named by Lysenko and has a degree in art science.
He studied in Lviv Music Academy and in graduate school, mastering his skills in the classes of Chupryk and Kryshtalsky. Petro is a prizewinner of international competitions, such as the Lysenko Contest and the Paderewski Contest.  He is a soloist and ensemble member at many international competitions in Ukraine and beyond. He performed at different venues in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Norway and Russia. V.Ploskina, I.Yuzyuk, P.Phylypchuk, G.Mates, Ya.Kolessa, I.Pylatyuk and others are among the conductors he had a chance to work with. Also, his solo performances were accompanied by the National Orchestra of Ukraine, the Academic Symphonic Orchestra of Lviv Philharmonic, chamber orchestras “Academia” and “Perpetuum Mobile”. In addition, Petro Dovgan’ has worked with Nazariy Pylatyuk, the prominent violinist and the Honored Artist of Ukraine for more than 10 years.
The duet repertoire includes more than twenty programs with world and Ukrainian music compositions. Petro Dovgan’ is acknowledged as one of the best ensemble musicians of the country due to his precise feeling of partnership and the great experience in concert performance.
