Yarema Pavliv was born in 1987 in Ivano-Frankivsk. Since 1993 he has been studying at the Lviv Secondary Specialized Musical Boarding School named after S. Krushelnitskaya – the specialty of the violin, class of Yuri Golda and in the class of Ivan Shutka. He also studied composition in the class Myroslav Volynsky. In 2004 he entered the Lviv National Music Academy named after M.V. Lysenko, where he studied at the Department of Violin – professor Lidia Shutko. He perfected his performing skills at Orestes the International Music Courses.
During the period of studies participated in All-Ukrainian and International competitions and festivals. He became the winner of the regional contest of young composers “Colorful Harmony” (Lviv, 1996), V Contest of Young Violinists, Mikhail Striharzha (Lviv, 1998), the winner of the 42nd International Competition named after Yaroslava Kotsian (Czech Republic, 2000), winner of the All-Ukrainian Contest on String Instruments (Lviv, 2003).
Since 2009, he has been an artist of the Lviv Academic Chamber Orchestra “Virtuosos of Lviv” of the Lviv Regional Philharmonic. As a soloist, he tours around Ukraine and abroad. He is also engaged in -organic studies of Hutsul traditional violin music, in addition, is a search engineer at the Department of Musical Folklore, LNMA named after M.V. Lysenko.
