Bandura Quartet “Lvivyanky”

The ensemble was founded at Mykola Lysenko Lviv Music Academy in 2000.

Since 2004 they have been a part of Lviv Philharmonic Society. “Lvivyanky” are a winner of the International Competition named after H. Khotkevych (Kharkiv, 2001, 2004, 2007), National Competition named after H. Kytasty (Kiev, 2003). In 2001, the ensemble recorded albums “Guelder rose the patroness of love” and “Lvivyanka”, 2006 – “Treasures of the Soul.”

The trio toured in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic. In the repertoire of “Lvivyanky” – original works by J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, A. Vivaldi, D. Bortniansky, F. Schubert, M. Lysenko, V. Barvinsky, A. Kos-Anatolsky, B. Filts arranged by O. Herasimenko, her own works, as well as popular music and folk songs.
