Denys Oliynyk – conductor

General information

Oliynyk Denys, born in 1995, Ukraine, Lviv. Began his creative career in 2002 in Lviv Secondary Specialized Musik Boarding School named after Solomiya Krushelnytska in the class of piano. In 2007 continued his studies in class of percussion instruments. Starting from 2011 – student of Stanislav Lyudkevych State Musik College of Lviv in the speciality of «Percussion instruments». Was an active member of the symphony and brass orchestras as orchestra atrist and conductor.

Starting from 2015 – student of Mykola Lysenko National Musik Academy of Lviv, Faculty «Opera and Symphony Conducting» in the class of Yarema Kolessa. In 2016 won the 3rd prize in the Conductors Competition «Musical Taurida» in Kherson, Ukraine.

In 2019 participated in the premiere production of Richard Wagner: «Lohengrin» as the invited assistant conductor in Solomiya Krushelnytska National Opera and Ballet Theater of Lviv. Following that, he holds the post of «assistant conductor» in this theater. Being a student-conductor he has a great experience of work with the symphony orchestra of the Opera studio that functions under the auspices of the Musik Academy.
