Iryna Berchuk is a young pianist, a laureate of all-Ukrainian and international competitions. She won her first creative victories while studying at the D. Sichynskyi Ivano-Frankivsk Music School (class of teacher Natalia Sych). (“Neihaus Music Meetings”, Kropyvnytskyi — 1 prize, D. Zador International Contest, Uzhhorod — 2nd prize, Ye. Stankovych Contest, Kyiv — in the solo nomination 1 prize, in the nomination of the game with the orchestra 2 prize).
Now Iryna is a 5th-year student at Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy. She is studying in the class of professor, People’s Artists of Ukraine Örmény József.
The program of the pianist includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Szymanowski, Liszt, and others. However, the work of the piano poet Fryderyk Chopin has always occupied and will occupy a special place in her repertoire. The concert for the piano with the orchestra №1 е-moll has already been performed by Irina in Kyiv (with a conductor M. Lysenko), during the festival Międzynarodowym Forum Pianistyczny “Bieszczady bez granic” in Sianok (Poland) together with the orchestra “Academy” (conductor — I. Pilatiuk), in the hometown of the pianist — Ivano-Frankivsk, with the chamber orchestra “Harmonia Nobile” (creative director — Natalia Mandrika), as well as with the Academic Chamber Orchestra of the Rivne Regional Philharmonic (conductor — Yu. Skrypnyk).
