Kateryna Poteriaieva – violin (UА)

Kateryna was born in Lviv where she also obtained her musical education first at Solomiya Krushelnytska Specialized Music Boarding School and then at Mykola Lysenko Music Academy in the class of Professors Heorhiy Pavliy and Oresta Kohut. During her studies Kateryna proved herself as an active performer, receiving awards and prizes at the international and Ukrainian music competitions. She is a frequent participant of music festivals both in Ukraine and abroad. Kateryna leads an active career as a soloist and chamber musician. In 2013 she joined “INSO-Lviv” Symphony Orchestra and in 2019 Kateryna was appointed a concertmaster-soloist of the orchestra. In 2016-2017, she took part in the concert tour in China as a soloist and concertmaster of Berging International Symphony Orchestra. Kateryna has performed in Poland, Germany, Austria, Russia, Spain, France, Switzerland, China, Italy, the Netherlands.
