Kolomiets Oksana is a soloist of the Lviv National Philharmonic as a member of the Lviv Bandura Quartet, Honored Artist of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Kobzars of Ukraine. She was born in Lviv region. She received her musical education at the Lviv National Academy of Music named after M. Lysenko, where she graduated from the orchestra faculty and and vocal faculty.
Since 2005 she has been working as a soloist of the Lviv Regional Philharmonic Society as a member of the Lviv Bandura Quartet, which was created to promote the bandura and Ukrainian musical culture. The band’s repertoire includes more than 200 works of various genres and styles, many of which are recorded in six audio albums.
Also, many programs on radio and television of Ukraine and different countries of the world have been recorded by the records of this esteemed quartet. During all the years of creative activity in this group, the bandura singer has performed in numerous concerts throughout Ukraine and abroad. She has solo parts of the quartet’s repertoire in works of various styles and genres, from the Baroque era to the latest works of modern composers, who often write under her voice.
