National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyivska Camerata”

General information

The ensemble is an active performer of chamber music of various styles and genres, from early baroque music to avant-garde achievements of contemporary composers. The ensemble was established in 1977. For over 30 years, “Kyiv Camerata” has been active in musical and cultural events and regularly participates in well-known international festivals and other significant concerts. The ensemble conducts lively touring activities, successfully performing interesting concert programs in Ukraine and far beyond its borders, in the Netherlands, the USA, Italy, China, Austria, Germany, France, Armenia, Croatia, Georgia, etc.

In Ukraine, this collective is known as a tireless advocate, the first performer and an unsurpassed interpreter of the music by contemporary Ukrainian composers — Valentyn Sylvestrov, Yevhen Stankovych, Ivan Karabyts, Myroslav Skoryk, Oleh Kiva, Levko Kolodub, Volodymyr Zubytskyi, Vitalii Hubarenko, Yurii Ishchenko, Leonid Hrabovskyi and many others whose works for Ukraine are becoming more and more known in the world today. Today, no other art collective in Ukraine has such a variety of works by Ukrainian authors in its repertoire.
