A collective specializing in the practice of historically informed music performance of the 17th and 18th centuries. It was founded in 2022 on the basis of the Liatoshynskyi Cappella of the National House of Music with a 40-year history.
LC:EME musicians have repeatedly participated in master classes and creative projects of world-renowned and recognized experts with early music performers. Among them: Andreas Scholl, Emma Kirkby, Andrew Lawrence-King, Claudio Cavina, Christopher Stambridge, Elżbieta Stefanska-Lukowicz, Stefan Leuthold, Jean-Christophe Dijoux, Marek Toporowski, and Alin Silberreich.
In the summer of 2023, at the invitation of Jordi Savall, the Ensemble performed at two major European early music festivals – the XVII Festival Musique & Histoire (Fontfroy Abbey, France) and the Jordi Savall Festival 2023 (Santes Creus, Spain) – where it presented a unique program of European and Ukrainian Baroque music.
