Matviy Demin – flute
General information
Matviy Demin was born in 1993. His first flute lessons were with his grandmother Galina Bulgakova at the age of 9.
In 2009 Matviy Demin entered the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover (class of Andrea Lieberknecht) and since 2012 he has been studying under Andrea Lieberknecht at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München.
Matviy Demin had been a solo-flutist at the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra before he became a co-principal solo-flutist at the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich at the age of 20.
