Mykola Okolovych – cello

In 2012 Mykola Okolovych  graduated from Mykola Lysenko National Music Academy of Lviv in the cello class of prof. Yu. Lanyuk. There he gained qualification of a concert performer. After the studies he continued performing at the academy’s Department of Quartet and Chamber Ensemble. Since 2014 he has been performing as a concertmaster and soloist of the cello group at the Academic Chamber Orchestra “Lviv Virtuosos”. As a part of the orchestra he has been touring in Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland. The musician has numerous solo performances with outstanding Ukrainian and foreign musicians, among them are: Oleg Kaskiv, Marko Komonko, Yevhen Kostrytsky, Bohdanna Pivnenko, Denys Severin, Tetyana Shevchenko and many others. He actively performs as at the Symphony Orchestra “Lemberg Sinfonietta”.
