Nina Karpinets – soprano

General information

Nina Karpinets was born in Lviv, Ukraine. Studied at F. Kolessa music pedagogical college (1985-1989). Studied and graduated from the M. Lysenko Higher State Music Institute with a degree in vocals in the class of solo singing of the Honored Artist of Ukraine, Professor Lyudmyla Bozhko, and chamber singing of Zinaida Maksymenko (1990-1997).

From 1997 to 2008  worked as a soloist in the opera studio at the Lviv State Music Academy. During this time performed roles in the operas  by J. Bizet, G. Donizetti, G. Rossini, D. Chimaroza,  M. Lysenko.

Since 1997  has been working as a soloist of the Lviv National Philharmonic named after M. Skoryk). Laureate of the International Vocal Competition (Belarus). She has toured in Poland and Germany.

Author  of many concert programs:  “Little Mozart”, “Ball of fairy tales”, “To you, my dear”, “I bow low to you, my mother”, “My evening star”, “Our Kobzar”, “Sound, native language!”

Participated in musicals for children: “Mykyta the Fox”, “Magic Sword”, “Gift of the Forest Wizard”, “Winter Tale”, “Glove”, “Return of Ivanko”, “Noah’s Ark”.
