Oana Camartin – violin (Swiss)

Born in Iasi (Romania). Musical education and diploma at the Music Academy “George Enescu” in Iasi and with Prof. Daniel Podlovschi from Bucharest. Member of the Philharmonic Orchestra Iasi for several years. Numerous concert performances as soloist in Europe, Latin America and Asia. Now free concert activity. Large repertoire with contemporary works and music of the 20th/21st century.

Soloist at numerous festivals, such as “Contrasts” in Lviv, “Days of New Music” in Chisinau and “International Music Festival of Kyiv”, “Menhir music festival”, Festival Odessa, Festival Klaipeda, World Festival Tamoanchan Mexico, Culturescapes Basel and others. Performed as a soloist first or world premieres by P. Rivilis, A. Pärt, J. Klusak, V. Poleva, R. d’Alessandro, M. Virsaladze, Z. Almashi, I. Shcherbakov, Y. Stankovych, A. Zohrabian and others. Numerous composers have written works for her and dedicated them to her.
