Olha Feniuk – soprano

General information

Olha Feniuk was born in Lviv region. In 1989 she graduated from the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, class of solo singing of professor, People’s Artist of Ukraine V. Chaika. She is the winner of the Golden Trembitas International Competition of Ukrainian Songs (1988).

She worked as a soloist with the Honored Academic Choir of Ukraine “Trembita” and the opera studio attached to the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy. Since 1995 she has been a soloist of Lviv Philharmonic. Her repertoire includes arias from operas and operettas, romances and Ukrainian folk songs.

Olha Feniuk has prepared such solo programs as “What a pleasure is just to live” performing works by S. Lyudkevych and the Evening of Ukrainian classical romance “Hearing is a treasure”. She has toured Ukraine, Poland, Belgium, Germany and the USA.

In 2013 she received a regional award in the field of culture, literature, art, journalism and architecture, the category “Musical Art”, for her thematic programs, release of CD “Ukrainian Romance by Anatoliy Kos-Anatolsky, Mykola Kolessa and Stanislav Liudkevych” and promoting works by Galician composers.
