Orysia Machikha – mezzo-soprano

She was born in the village of Liubelya (Lviv district, Lviv region).

From 2012 to 2016, she studied at the Zhovkva Music School of Arts in the class of Masliak O. In 2016, she entered the Stanislav Ludkevych Lviv Music College, specializing in Academic Singing in the class of O. Marych.

She continued her studies at the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy at the Faculty of Musicology, Composition, Vocal and Conducting in the class of People’s Artist of Ukraine L. Bozhko.

During her studies, she took an active part in many concerts, art projects, music festivals and competitions, including: “Pearl of the West”, winner of the third degree, “City of Lion”, second place, “Amber Solos” and “Young Talents – Myshuzi”, diploma of the second degree.

She participated in a master class by Zoriana Kushpler.

During her studies, she performed the role of the 3rd Lady from W.A. Mozart’s opera “Queen of the Night”, Bacchante from Mykola Lysenko’s opera “Nocturne” and the 4th Mermaid from Mykola Leontovych’s opera “On Mermaid Easter”.
